I’m a very simple man. I see things in black and white. If I see any gray, I know it’s only because I don’t completely understand what it is I see. Once I have the understanding, the gray becomes black or white. Therefore, there is no gray area; there is only lack of understanding. Understanding can only be achieved through logic and reason; emotion and feelings cloud our understanding. I strive to understand why I think what it is I think; I’m introspective. It’s important for me to know why I believe the things I believe. So many people go through their lives and question nothing, believe everything, and are easily controlled. I choose not to be one of those people.
I love God and my family. I have but a few close friends and a lot of acquaintances. I like to race cars, ride motorcycles, write software, and play golf (although I’ve not played golf much lately). Life is a wonderful thing and yet most people let their lives just slowly drip away. I will try to not let that happen to me.
